Explore Seychelles- the new honeymoon destination for Indian couples

Is it just me or is Seychelles the new hot honeymoon destination for Indian couples? Well ! it’s definitely divine and one of the most beautiful island nations in the world. The beaches are pure white sand with turquoise waters that need absolutely no filters cause believe me it does not get more blue than this. And unlike other beach destinations which are generally a mix of family, friends and couples; Seychelles is probably the only one which qualifies as a nearly exclusive honeymooner destination.

So here’s my guide on how to plan a perfect honeymoon to start that new romantic phase in life:

# Fly out:

Though there are flights from Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Hyderabad but the best deals are always from Mumbai to Mahe Seychelles and sometimes from Delhi. The others work out a wee bit expensive.

So if you are flying out of Mumbai you can expect great deals between 45000 – 50,000 INR for a honeymooner couple. I saw some real exciting rates on Etihad Airways and Air Seychelles when we were planning our trip.

We flew Air Seychelles from Mumbai to Mahe ; Flying directly to Praslin is a bit expensive. However there are regular domestic flights from Mahe to Praslin.

# Visa

Indian passport holders have visa on arrival facility for free for 30 days but you do have to show return tickets and hotel stay for the visiting period.
